Chris Pratt is enjoying a quiet family life these days. The actor turned 43 on Tuesday and took the opportunity to enjoy life’s simple pleasures.

Pratt chats with ET’s Will Marfuggi at the premiere of his new action series list of terminals at the DGA Theater Complex in Los Angeles on Wednesday, and he opened up about how he celebrated his special day.

“tomorrow [my birthday]”I got a pass to go golfing, which was a lot of fun,” Pratt said with a grin. “Yesterday I had a very short day. Spent it with my daughters and wife, and cooked steaks at home. It was very fun!”

Pratt has two daughters with his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger – Lyla, 1, and Eloise, 1 month.

The action star shares 9-year-old son Jack with ex-wife Anna Faris, and he shared that their son is “doing a great job as a big brother.”

“There’s a big age difference… [and] He does a great job, he’s so nice to them,” Pratt wondered. “And they love him so much and miss him when he’s gone.”

Recently, Birthday Boy also talked about his new action series list of terminals, which marks Pratt’s first major attempt to even get behind the camera. In addition to starring in the Amazon Prime Video original series, he is also an executive producer.

“I’ve been in this business for 20 years and I’ve always been an actor, so I show up to do a little rehearsal, fit in, walk the runway and go to work,” Pratt explained. “I didn’t understand how much it cost to get to this point! And so it was definitely an eye opener and a great learning experience.

“I think if you’re smart and you’ve been in this business for a long time, you’re going to want to keep learning and finding ways to move forward and I’ve definitely done both of those things in this job,” Pratt said. Told.
