Let’s take a quick look at the specs of these components.
For our Budget Gaming PC, we chose a Intel Core i5-11400 as the main component. This processor may not be as efficient as the latest 12th Gen Intel processor, but it is cheaper and suitable for our budget gaming PC under 1 Lakh in Nepal.
The Intel Core-i5 10400F has 6 cores and 12 threads with a maximum turbo frequency of 4.40 GHz. This is an older processor which will however fit the budget and deliver smooth performance.

Memory and storage
V-color is a memory manufacturing company. Their headquarters and R&D center are located in Taipei, Taiwan. The company also sells its RAM and SSD in Nepal. For our gaming PC under 1 Lakh in Nepal, we took V-Color’s 8GB 3200MHz RAM. It comes with a CAS latency of CL16-18-18-38. For games only, 8GB of RAM will do the job. But if you plan to stream or edit your gameplay footage, we recommend adding an additional 8GB of RAM.
Similarly, for the SSD, we took the 256 GB PCle SSD from HikVision. Similar to RAM, this amount of storage won’t be enough either, so adding extra storage sooner or later is highly recommended. It has a read speed of 2300 megabytes per second and a write speed of 1200 megabytes per second. Overall these are the components we found for this price range in Nepal.
Case and power supply
Darkflash DK100 supports ATX / M-ATX / ITX motherboards. It has 7 expansion slots with USB3.01/ USB2.02/ HD Audio*2/ Power/Reset/LED I/O Options. Similarly, it also supports 2 SSD slots and 2 HDD slots (or 1 HDD + 1 SSD).
The desktop computer power supply converts alternating current (AC) from an electricity wall outlet to low-voltage direct current (DC) to run the motherboard, processor, and peripherals. 80 Plus is a certification designed to indicate that a power supply is at least 80% efficient at 20%, 50% and 100% loads. The 80+ Bronze power supplies are more than enough for the average consumer.
